Avoma is a strong meeting intelligence platform: it records and transcribes meetings, takes notes, handles scheduling and coaching, and shows Answer Cards during calls. The question for a sales team is whether meeting intelligence is the problem it is trying to solve. If a rep freezes when a buyer challenges the price, what matters is the help on screen in that moment. Below are five alternatives, including our own product, Sales Copilot, compared from each company's public pages, checked on November 4, 2026.

Why sales teams look for Avoma alternatives

Avoma describes itself as an all-in-one AI meeting assistant with conversation and revenue intelligence. It records and transcribes meetings, takes notes, schedules meetings, updates the CRM, coaches reps and forecasts pipeline, and it offers help during calls through Answer Cards. For a team that wants one platform for the whole meeting workflow, that breadth is the appeal. Teams look elsewhere for a few reasons.

  • Live help built from the deal. Avoma's Answer Cards show talking points an admin wrote in advance, triggered by phrases or keywords. If you want an answer composed for the exact question, from the Prospect's brief, your materials and a Playbook, compare how each tool produces its live help.
  • A narrower tool. Avoma sells plans per recording seat and adds conversation intelligence, revenue intelligence and lead routing as add-ons. If the main need is handling hard questions on live calls, you may not need the full meeting workflow.
  • How the call is captured. Avoma supports bot-based and bot-less recording, but its help centre says Answer Cards need live transcription, through Avoma's bot joining the meeting or Zoom live streaming. If you want live help without anything joining the meeting, check each tool's requirements.
  • Preparation and practice. If you want reps to prepare with their own materials and rehearse hard questions with an AI buyer before the call, check which tools cover the time before the meeting.

Five Avoma alternatives

Every entry has the same shape: what the tool is, what it does during the call, how it captures calls, who it fits and how it is priced. Statements about other companies come from their own pages, listed under sources at the end.

Sales Copilot by Cluely AI

Sales Copilot is built for the moment the hard question lands, with preparation before the call and a Debrief after it.

  • What it is: a real-time assistant for B2B sales calls. Before the call, a Prospect holds your brief, materials from your Library and a Playbook, and you can rehearse with an AI buyer. After the call, the Debrief ties feedback to evidence in the transcript and keeps the Account Action Plan.
  • During the call: one answer card, on screen as soon as the question is asked, while the call is still live. By default it shows what they asked, a line to say, up to two supporting points and an optional question to ask back. You say it your way. There is no live transcript on screen; the transcript is in the Debrief.
  • How it captures calls: no bot joins the meeting. In the browser, you share the meeting's tab; live calls need desktop Chrome or Edge. The desktop app for Mac and Windows hears your microphone and the call audio on your computer, so it also works with desktop meeting apps without sharing a tab, can hide its window from screen share and adds keyboard shortcuts. It works with calls in Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and other meeting apps; these are not native integrations. Raw audio and recordings are not stored; transcripts, Debriefs and derived memory are.
  • Who it fits: reps who want help when a pricing, security or competitor question comes up, and teams that share materials and Playbooks in a Team workspace.
  • Pricing: published Pro and Team prices on the pricing page, with a two-seat minimum for Team and no free trial.

Gong

Gong records and analyses customer calls across a revenue team. For more options around it, see Gong alternatives.

  • What it is: in Gong's words, an AI operating system for revenue teams, with products for engagement, forecasting, enablement and AI agents built on recorded customer conversations.
  • During the call: real-time alerts in the Gong App for Zoom, such as a nudge to let the prospect talk.
  • How it captures calls: Gong finds meetings on your calendar and joins as a virtual participant, or records natively on supported platforms such as Zoom; it also records phone calls. Recordings and transcripts are stored in the cloud with configurable retention.
  • Who it fits: revenue organisations that want every customer call recorded and analysed, with forecasting and enablement on the same data.
  • Pricing: by proposal: licences per user plus a platform fee based on the number of users.

Salesken

Salesken puts live guidance at the centre of its AI Sales Assistant, alongside revenue intelligence and quality assurance.

  • What it is: a sales and revenue intelligence platform. Salesken says its AI predicts deal outcomes for leaders, enables coaching at scale for managers and helps reps close deals faster. Its products include an AI Sales Assistant, revenue intelligence, quality assurance and a meeting notetaker.
  • During the call: live prompts for objections, competitor mentions and key talking points, with cues for pricing discussions.
  • How it captures calls: integrations with supported dialers and CRMs, and an AI Meeting Notetaker that automatically joins calls to capture the discussion.
  • Who it fits: sales, quality assurance and contact-centre teams. Salesken names industries such as fintech, banking, insurance, healthcare, edtech, SaaS and BPO contact centres.
  • Pricing: by quote. Licences are priced per recorded user, plus a platform fee based on the number of users.

Jiminny

Jiminny pairs conversation intelligence with coaching tools for managers, including coaching during a live call.

  • What it is: conversation intelligence that records, transcribes and analyses calls and video meetings, with coaching scorecards, instant AI feedback, call libraries and playlists, CRM logging and pipeline management.
  • During the call: a manager can join a live call from Jiminny's Sidekick browser extension and coach the rep in a private chat. This works on Jiminny Voice calls and on meetings the Notetaker attends.
  • How it captures calls: a visible Notetaker joins Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams meetings, and Jiminny Voice places calls from Sidekick. A desktop app can record meetings from your own computer without a visible notetaker; Jiminny lists this as in beta, available through its customer success team.
  • Who it fits: revenue teams where managers coach from recorded calls, with views for reps, managers and executives.
  • Pricing: by quote, with recording, insights and listener seats, a 14-day trial and a 12-month minimum contract.

Chorus by ZoomInfo

ZoomInfo announced in July 2021 that it had agreed to acquire Chorus.ai; the product is now Chorus by ZoomInfo. For a list built around replacing it, see Chorus alternatives.

  • What it is: ZoomInfo's conversation intelligence product. It captures and analyses customer calls, meetings and emails, with transcription, coaching scorecards, call playlists and deal and market insight, and it brings ZoomInfo's contact and company data to your team.
  • During the call: not described on ZoomInfo's public Chorus pages.
  • How it captures calls: Chorus joins meetings on your synced calendar that have a video conference link and at least one external participant, or records through a native Zoom integration your organisation configures. A rep can also add Chorus to a live call.
  • Who it fits: teams that already use ZoomInfo for contact and company data and want call insight connected to it.
  • Pricing: no published price. The Chorus page offers a demo, and ZoomInfo's pricing page offers custom packages through its sales team.

How to choose

Post-call coaching or live call support? Avoma, Gong, Jiminny and Chorus are strongest at reviewing recorded conversations, and several add some help during the call. Sales Copilot is built for the live moment first. Know which problem costs you more deals before you compare features.

Bot tolerance in your buyer base? Ask whether a recorder in the attendee list is acceptable to your buyers and their legal or procurement teams. Avoma, Gong and Jiminny offer ways to record without a visible bot; Sales Copilot never joins the meeting. With any tool that transcribes a call, notice and consent stay your and your organisation's responsibility. How Sales Copilot works without a meeting bot explains its capture in more detail.

Playbook fidelity? If your team has specific materials, objection answers and talk tracks that reps should stay close to, the tool needs to know them. A prepared card that appears on a trigger phrase and an answer built from your own materials for the question just asked are different kinds of help.

Team size and budget? Avoma and Sales Copilot publish prices; Gong, Salesken, Jiminny and Chorus price by quote. Compare the total for your team size, then weigh it against which tool addresses the moment you lose deals in.

Live help is only as good as the preparation behind it. How to prepare for a B2B discovery call covers the brief and the questions, and sales roleplay scenarios covers practising before the call. Teams who need live call support rather than post-call review can compare Sales Copilot plans.

Frequently asked questions

Is Avoma good for small sales teams?

Avoma publishes per-seat prices for its Startup, Organization and Enterprise plans, and viewers and collaborators do not need a paid seat, so a small team can price it before talking to sales. It suits teams that want meeting notes, scheduling and coaching in one workspace. If the core need is handling hard questions on live calls, compare each tool's help during the call first.

What is the best real-time alternative to Avoma?

It depends on the help you want on screen. Salesken shows live prompts for objections and competitor mentions, Gong's Zoom app shows alerts such as talk time, and Jiminny lets a manager coach a rep in a private chat during the call. Sales Copilot puts one answer card on screen for the question just asked, built from your Prospect brief, Library materials and Playbook, and no bot joins the meeting.

Does Avoma require a meeting bot?

No. Avoma's pricing page says it supports both bot-less native recording and bot-based recording, and its desktop app can record your microphone and system audio. Its help centre says Answer Cards need live transcription, through Avoma's bot joining the meeting or Zoom live streaming.

Can Avoma help reps during a live call?

Yes. Answer Cards show talking points an admin wrote when a trigger phrase or keyword is detected, in Avoma's desktop and web apps, and prospects on the call cannot see them. Avoma also describes battlecards and prompts surfaced live during calls. Sales Copilot works differently: it builds an answer to the question just asked from your Prospect brief, Library materials and Playbook, rather than showing a card written in advance.

How is Sales Copilot different from Avoma?

Avoma is a meeting assistant with conversation and revenue intelligence: recording, notes, scheduling, coaching and forecasting, with Answer Cards during calls. Sales Copilot is built for the live sales conversation: a Prospect brief, materials and a Playbook before the call, one answer card during it, rehearsal with an AI buyer and a Debrief afterwards. It does not store raw audio or recordings, and no bot joins the meeting. You can run a recorder and a live assistant together, or pick the one that covers the moment you most need help with. Sales Copilot vs Avoma compares the two side by side.
