Chorus records, transcribes and analyses sales calls. If the problem is what the rep says while the buyer is still on the line, look at what each tool does during the call. Below are five alternatives, including our own product, Sales Copilot, which puts an answer on screen while the call is live. Each is compared from its company's public pages, checked on November 4, 2026.

Why sales teams look for Chorus alternatives

ZoomInfo announced in July 2021 that it had agreed to acquire Chorus.ai, which it described as a leader in conversation intelligence. The product is now Chorus by ZoomInfo: ZoomInfo's conversation intelligence product, which captures and analyses customer calls, meetings and emails and brings ZoomInfo's contact and company data to your team. That gives a few reasons to compare alternatives.

  • Pricing through ZoomInfo. Chorus has no published price. Its page offers a demo, and ZoomInfo's pricing page offers custom packages through its sales team. If you do not use ZoomInfo's data products, find out what the quote includes before assuming it is competitive.
  • Help during the call. ZoomInfo's public Chorus pages describe recording, transcription, coaching scorecards and deal and market insight. They do not describe help for the rep during the call.
  • How calls are captured. Chorus joins meetings on your synced calendar that have a video conference link and at least one external participant, or records through a native Zoom integration your organisation configures. If you would rather keep recorders out of customer meetings, compare how each alternative captures calls.
  • Preparation and practice. Reviewing calls helps after the fact. If you also want reps to prepare with their own materials and rehearse hard questions, check which tools cover the time before the call.

Five Chorus alternatives

Every entry has the same shape: what the tool is, what it does during the call, how it captures calls, who it fits and how it is priced. Statements about other companies come from their own pages, listed under sources at the end.

Sales Copilot by Cluely AI

Sales Copilot is built for the moment the hard question lands, with preparation before the call and a Debrief after it.

  • What it is: a real-time assistant for B2B sales calls. Before the call, a Prospect holds your brief, materials from your Library and a Playbook, and you can rehearse with an AI buyer. After the call, the Debrief ties feedback to evidence in the transcript and keeps the Account Action Plan.
  • During the call: one answer card, on screen as soon as the question is asked, while the call is still live. By default it shows what they asked, a line to say, up to two supporting points and an optional question to ask back. You say it your way. There is no live transcript on screen; the transcript is in the Debrief.
  • How it captures calls: no bot joins the meeting. In the browser, you share the meeting's tab; live calls need desktop Chrome or Edge. The desktop app for Mac and Windows hears your microphone and the call audio on your computer, so it also works with desktop meeting apps without sharing a tab, can hide its window from screen share and adds keyboard shortcuts. It works with calls in Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and other meeting apps; these are not native integrations. Raw audio and recordings are not stored; transcripts, Debriefs and derived memory are.
  • Who it fits: reps who want help when a pricing, security or competitor question comes up, and teams that share materials and Playbooks in a Team workspace.
  • Pricing: published Pro and Team prices on the pricing page, with a two-seat minimum for Team and no free trial.

Gong

Gong records and analyses customer calls across a revenue team, the same broad job as Chorus. For more options around it, see Gong alternatives; for Gong against a live assistant, read Sales Copilot vs Gong for live call help.

  • What it is: in Gong's words, an AI operating system for revenue teams, with products for engagement, forecasting, enablement and AI agents built on recorded customer conversations.
  • During the call: real-time alerts in the Gong App for Zoom, such as a nudge to let the prospect talk.
  • How it captures calls: Gong finds meetings on your calendar and joins as a virtual participant, or records natively on supported platforms such as Zoom; it also records phone calls. Recordings and transcripts are stored in the cloud with configurable retention.
  • Who it fits: revenue organisations that want every customer call recorded and analysed, with forecasting and enablement on the same data.
  • Pricing: by proposal: licences per user plus a platform fee based on the number of users.

Avoma

Avoma covers the meeting workflow from scheduling to notes to forecasting, publishes its prices and includes help during calls. For more options around it, see Avoma alternatives.

  • What it is: an all-in-one AI meeting assistant with conversation and revenue intelligence: recording, transcription, notes, scheduling, coaching and forecasting.
  • During the call: Answer Cards, part of the Conversation Intelligence add-on. Admins write talking points for common questions and objections, and a card appears when a trigger phrase is detected; prospects cannot see it. Live transcription has to be on, through Avoma's bot or Zoom live streaming.
  • How it captures calls: bot-based or bot-less recording, across Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Webex, GoToMeeting and others. Its desktop app can record your microphone and system audio and send it to Avoma's servers.
  • Who it fits: teams that want one workspace for meeting notes, scheduling and coaching, with conversation and revenue intelligence as add-ons.
  • Pricing: published prices per recording seat, with add-ons priced per seat. Viewers and collaborators are free, and there is a 14-day trial.

Salesken

Salesken puts live guidance at the centre of its AI Sales Assistant, alongside revenue intelligence and quality assurance.

  • What it is: a sales and revenue intelligence platform. Salesken says its AI predicts deal outcomes for leaders, enables coaching at scale for managers and helps reps close deals faster. Its products include an AI Sales Assistant, revenue intelligence, quality assurance and a meeting notetaker.
  • During the call: live prompts for objections, competitor mentions and key talking points, with cues for pricing discussions.
  • How it captures calls: integrations with supported dialers and CRMs, and an AI Meeting Notetaker that automatically joins calls to capture the discussion.
  • Who it fits: sales, quality assurance and contact-centre teams. Salesken names industries such as fintech, banking, insurance, healthcare, edtech, SaaS and BPO contact centres.
  • Pricing: by quote. Licences are priced per recorded user, plus a platform fee based on the number of users.

Salesloft Conversation Intelligence (formerly Clari Copilot)

Clari and Salesloft completed their merger in December 2025 and now operate as one company under the Salesloft brand. Clari's conversation intelligence, sold as Clari Copilot, continues as part of Salesloft.

  • What it is: call recording, transcription and analysis inside the Salesloft platform, with AI call summaries, follow-up emails and CRM updates, next to sales engagement and Clari Forecast.
  • During the call: battlecards surface in real time on every call, with coaching cards triggered by words such as 'discount'.
  • How it captures calls: a bot joins eligible meetings automatically; calls are recorded, transcribed and available within minutes of ending.
  • Who it fits: teams that already run Salesloft. Its help centre says the integration needs a Salesloft subscription on an Advanced or higher tier and a Clari Copilot subscription.
  • Pricing: by quote through Salesloft's sales team; no published prices.

How to choose

Chorus because of ZoomInfo, or because of Chorus? Answer this first. If ZoomInfo's data is the core need and you buy Chorus from ZoomInfo as well, replacing Chorus changes part of that relationship. If you chose Chorus for conversation intelligence alone, the decision is simpler.

Post-call analytics or live call support? Gong and Avoma are the stronger picks if the goal is better post-call coaching and deal analysis, and both add some help during calls. Sales Copilot, Salesken and Salesloft's battlecards work in the moment the buyer asks the hard question. Picking the wrong category is an easy mistake, so decide which problem you are solving first.

Bot tolerance. A recorder in the attendee list makes recording visible to the buyer, and legal teams may want to review the setup. Chorus joins meetings from your calendar to record them, as do Salesloft's bot and Salesken's notetaker; Avoma and Gong can also record without a bot joining; Sales Copilot never joins. With any tool that transcribes a call, notice and consent stay your responsibility. How Sales Copilot works without a meeting bot explains its capture for teams that must answer compliance questions before buying.

Price without a bundle. Chorus is priced through ZoomInfo, and Gong, Salesken and Salesloft by quote; Avoma and Sales Copilot publish prices. If you have lost track of what Chorus costs inside a wider ZoomInfo contract, get that number before comparing.

To practise before going live, B2B discovery call questions lists questions worth rehearsing with an AI buyer, and how to prepare for a B2B discovery call shows how preparation feeds the live call. Reps who need answers during live calls can compare Sales Copilot plans.

Frequently asked questions

Is Chorus still a standalone product?

Chorus is now a ZoomInfo product, Chorus by ZoomInfo. ZoomInfo announced in July 2021 that it had agreed to acquire Chorus.ai. The Chorus page offers a demo rather than a price, and ZoomInfo's pricing page offers custom packages through its sales team, so expect to price it with ZoomInfo.

What is the best Chorus alternative for real-time call support?

Look at what each tool shows during the call. Salesken shows live prompts for objections and competitor mentions, Avoma shows Answer Cards your admins write, Salesloft surfaces battlecards, and Gong's Zoom app shows alerts such as talk time. Sales Copilot puts one answer card on screen for the question just asked, built from your Prospect brief, Library materials and Playbook, and no bot joins the meeting.

Does Chorus join calls as a recording bot?

It joins the meeting to record it. ZoomInfo's help centre says Chorus joins meetings on your synced calendar that have a video conference link and at least one external participant, and a rep can also add Chorus to a live call; organisations can instead record through a native Zoom integration. Sales Copilot does not join the meeting: it works from a shared browser tab or the audio on your computer.

Why look for a Chorus alternative?

Three reasons stand out in this comparison: Chorus is priced through ZoomInfo, ZoomInfo's public pages do not describe help for the rep during the call, and Chorus joins customer meetings to record them. If recordings and notes are what you need, a meeting assistant such as Avoma covers them. If live help is the need, Sales Copilot addresses a different problem: what the rep says while the call is live.

How does Sales Copilot compare to Chorus on privacy?

Chorus records calls and keeps them for review, such as playlists of your best calls, and ZoomInfo's help centre says it has no storage limit. Sales Copilot sends live audio for speech recognition but does not store raw audio, recordings, screenshots or screen video; transcripts, Debriefs and derived memory are stored in your workspace with no automatic expiry by default. Customer data is not used to train AI models. With either tool, notice and consent are your and your organisation's responsibility. Sales Copilot vs Chorus compares the two in more detail.
