Gong records customer calls and analyses them across a revenue team. If what you need is an answer on screen while the call is still live, you are evaluating a different kind of tool. Below are five alternatives, including our own product, Sales Copilot, which helps during the call and in the review afterwards. Each entry covers what the tool is built for, what it does during the call, how it captures calls and how it is priced, from each company's public pages, checked on November 4, 2026.
Why sales teams look for Gong alternatives
Gong describes itself as an AI operating system for revenue teams. It records customer calls across phone, video and web conferencing, transcribes and analyses them, and builds forecasting, enablement and AI agents on that data. For a revenue organisation that wants every conversation captured and inspected, that is the point. Teams look elsewhere when the job they need done is a different one.
- Help during the call. Gong's blog describes real-time alerts in the Gong App for Zoom, such as a nudge to let the prospect talk or a notice that a key stakeholder has gone quiet. When a rep stalls on a pricing or security question, the help they need is an answer on screen.
- Pricing you can see in advance. Gong prepares a proposal: licences are priced per user, with a platform fee based on the number of users. If you want to know the cost before a sales conversation, look for published prices.
- A recorder in the meeting. Gong joins video meetings as a virtual participant, and in Zoom its recorder appears in the attendee list. With supported providers such as Zoom, it can instead record in the platform and retrieve the recording after the call. If you would rather keep recorders out of customer meetings, compare how each alternative captures audio.
- Preparation and practice. Analysis of past calls helps after the fact. If you also want reps to prepare with their own materials and rehearse hard questions before the buyer asks them, check which tools cover the time before the call.
Five Gong alternatives
Every entry has the same shape: what the tool is, what it does during the call, how it captures calls, who it fits and how it is priced. Statements about other companies come from their own pages, listed under sources at the end.
Sales Copilot by Cluely AI
Sales Copilot is built for the moment the hard question lands, with preparation before the call and a Debrief after it.
- What it is: a real-time assistant for B2B sales calls. Before the call, a Prospect holds your brief, materials from your Library and a Playbook, and you can rehearse with an AI buyer. After the call, the Debrief ties feedback to evidence in the transcript and keeps the Account Action Plan.
- During the call: one answer card, on screen as soon as the question is asked, while the call is still live. By default it shows what they asked, a line to say, up to two supporting points and an optional question to ask back. You say it your way. There is no live transcript on screen; the transcript is in the Debrief.
- How it captures calls: no bot joins the meeting. In the browser, you share the meeting's tab; live calls need desktop Chrome or Edge. The desktop app for Mac and Windows hears your microphone and the call audio on your computer, so it also works with desktop meeting apps without sharing a tab, can hide its window from screen share and adds keyboard shortcuts. It works with calls in Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and other meeting apps; these are not native integrations. Raw audio and recordings are not stored; transcripts, Debriefs and derived memory are.
- Who it fits: reps who want help when a pricing, security or competitor question comes up, and teams that share materials and Playbooks in a Team workspace.
- Pricing: published Pro and Team prices on the pricing page, with a two-seat minimum for Team and no free trial.
Salesken
Salesken puts live guidance at the centre of its AI Sales Assistant, alongside revenue intelligence and quality assurance.
- What it is: a sales and revenue intelligence platform. Salesken says its AI predicts deal outcomes for leaders, enables coaching at scale for managers and helps reps close deals faster. Its products include an AI Sales Assistant, revenue intelligence, quality assurance and a meeting notetaker.
- During the call: live prompts for objections, competitor mentions and key talking points, with cues for pricing discussions.
- How it captures calls: integrations with supported dialers and CRMs, and an AI Meeting Notetaker that automatically joins calls to capture the discussion.
- Who it fits: sales, quality assurance and contact-centre teams. Salesken names industries such as fintech, banking, insurance, healthcare, edtech, SaaS and BPO contact centres.
- Pricing: by quote. Licences are priced per recorded user, plus a platform fee based on the number of users.
Avoma
Avoma covers the meeting workflow from scheduling to notes to forecasting, and includes help during calls. For more options around it, see Avoma alternatives.
- What it is: an all-in-one AI meeting assistant with conversation and revenue intelligence: recording, transcription, notes, scheduling, coaching and forecasting.
- During the call: Answer Cards, part of the Conversation Intelligence add-on. Admins write talking points for common questions and objections, and a card appears when a trigger phrase is detected; prospects cannot see it. Live transcription has to be on, through Avoma's bot or Zoom live streaming.
- How it captures calls: bot-based or bot-less recording, across Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Webex, GoToMeeting and others. Its desktop app can record your microphone and system audio and send it to Avoma's servers.
- Who it fits: teams that want one workspace for meeting notes, scheduling and coaching, with conversation and revenue intelligence as add-ons.
- Pricing: published prices per recording seat, with add-ons priced per seat. Viewers and collaborators are free, and there is a 14-day trial.
Salesloft Conversation Intelligence (formerly Clari Copilot)
Clari and Salesloft completed their merger in December 2025 and now operate as one company under the Salesloft brand. Clari's conversation intelligence, sold as Clari Copilot, continues as part of Salesloft.
- What it is: call recording, transcription and analysis inside the Salesloft platform, with AI call summaries, follow-up emails and CRM updates, next to sales engagement and Clari Forecast.
- During the call: battlecards surface in real time on every call, with coaching cards triggered by words such as 'discount'.
- How it captures calls: a bot joins eligible meetings automatically; calls are recorded, transcribed and available within minutes of ending.
- Who it fits: teams that already run Salesloft. Its help centre says the integration needs a Salesloft subscription on an Advanced or higher tier and a Clari Copilot subscription.
- Pricing: by quote through Salesloft's sales team; no published prices.
Chorus by ZoomInfo
ZoomInfo announced in July 2021 that it had agreed to acquire Chorus.ai; the product is now Chorus by ZoomInfo. For a list built around replacing it, see Chorus alternatives.
- What it is: ZoomInfo's conversation intelligence product. It captures and analyses customer calls, meetings and emails, with transcription, coaching scorecards, call playlists and deal and market insight, and it brings ZoomInfo's contact and company data to your team.
- During the call: not described on ZoomInfo's public Chorus pages.
- How it captures calls: Chorus joins meetings on your synced calendar that have a video conference link and at least one external participant, or records through a native Zoom integration your organisation configures. A rep can also add Chorus to a live call.
- Who it fits: teams that already use ZoomInfo for contact and company data and want call insight connected to it.
- Pricing: no published price. The Chorus page offers a demo, and ZoomInfo's pricing page offers custom packages through its sales team.

How to choose
Is the problem during the call or after it? Recording and analysis platforms help managers see patterns across many calls. If the goal is helping a rep answer a hard question while the call is live, judge each tool by what it puts on screen during the call.
What may join your meetings? Several tools here record by joining the meeting as a participant; Sales Copilot never does. A bot is not the only question, though: with any tool that transcribes a call, notice and consent remain your and your organisation's responsibility. How Sales Copilot works without a meeting bot explains its capture in more detail.
Where does the live help come from? If reps are expected to stay close to approved talk tracks, objection answers and pricing, check whether a tool shows cards written in advance or builds an answer from your own materials and Playbook. Real-time AI sales help on Zoom, Meet and Teams covers how audio capture works with each meeting app.
What will it cost for your team? Gong, Salesken, Salesloft and Chorus price by quote; Avoma and Sales Copilot publish prices. Ask each vendor for the total for your team size and contract length before comparing. Whichever tool you choose, preparation decides how useful live help is; how to prepare for a B2B discovery call walks through it at the rep level.

Frequently asked questions
Is Gong worth the cost for small sales teams?
Gong does not publish prices. Its pricing page describes licences per user plus a platform fee based on the number of users, prepared as a proposal. Whether that is worth it depends on the job: Gong is built for recording and analysing calls across a revenue team, with forecasting and enablement. If your reps mainly need help during calls, compare the tools built for that moment, and ask every vendor for the total for your team size.
What is the best real-time alternative to Gong?
It depends on the kind of help you want on screen. Salesken shows live prompts for objections and competitor mentions, Avoma shows Answer Cards your admins write, and Salesloft surfaces battlecards. Sales Copilot puts one answer card on screen for the question just asked, built from your Prospect brief, Library materials and Playbook, and no bot joins the meeting.
Does Gong join meetings as a recording bot?
It can. Gong's help centre says it joins the meeting as a virtual participant and records the call, and in Zoom the Gong recorder appears in the attendee list. With supported providers such as Zoom, it can instead record in the conferencing platform and retrieve the recording after the call. Sales Copilot does not join the meeting: it works from a shared browser tab or the audio on your computer.
Can I use Gong for live call coaching?
Gong's blog describes real-time alerts in the Gong App for Zoom, such as a prompt to let the prospect speak or a notice that the most important stakeholder has gone quiet. Its products centre on recording, analysis, forecasting and enablement. For an answer to the buyer's question on screen, look at tools built for live help.
How does Sales Copilot handle privacy compared to Gong?
Sales Copilot sends live audio for speech recognition but does not store raw audio, recordings, screenshots or screen video. Transcripts, Debriefs and derived memory are stored in your workspace with no automatic expiry by default, and customer data is not used to train AI models. Gong stores call recordings and transcripts in the cloud with configurable retention policies. With either tool, notice and consent are your and your organisation's responsibility.
